Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions apply to all sales and deliveries of products purchased by consumers in the Atelier Florentine webshop of Studio Freckles, company registration no: 75051885, Rodeschuurderwegje 37, 3853 LR, Ermelo, The Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as Atelier Florentine or us).

www.atelierforentine.nl is owned and operated by Atelier Florentine.


Orders
Before placing your order, please check your order, payment, delivery and billing information carefully. Shortly after placing your order, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.


This receipt is not an order confirmation and at that time the order is not yet binding. A binding contract between you and Atelier Florentine is only established when we confirm by email that your order has been shipped. We reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, we are unable to obtain payment authorization, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular product, if the product ordered is out of stock or does not meet our quality standards and is being recalled, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the Terms and Conditions. We may also refuse to process and thus accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time and in our sole discretion.

We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our removing a product from the Website, whether or not the product has been sold; removing, testing or editing material or content from the Website; refusing to process a transaction or undoing or suspending a transaction after processing has begun.


Cancel order
It is only possible to cancel your order if it has not yet been packed and shipped from our warehouse. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us via email or phone as soon as possible. We reserve the right to refuse cancellation of the order if the order has already been packed by our warehouse.

Birth card proof
To save costs and the environment, we only send proofs that we have printed in advance. So this is exactly the same card, only the name is different. This is indicated on the webshop. Proofs are always without foil. Costs incurred on a proof are not refundable.


Payments
You can pay via iDeal, Paypal or by credit card (Mastercard & Visa) The payment will be debited from your account and settled upon shipment of your order by Atelier Florentine.

We take all measures to make our website secure that can reasonably be expected of us. All credit card transactions on this website are processed through a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

In addition, we will take all reasonable measures, to the extent within our power, to keep your order and payment details secure, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorized access to any data you provide when visiting or ordering from the website.


Prices
The price of a product displayed on the web shop at the time the order is accepted will be maintained, except in case of mistakes, typing errors, etc.

All prices are stated in EUR (or any other currency you may have displayed on our website), including VAT and other sales taxes as applicable.

All customs and import duties levied once the order reaches the destination country must be paid by the recipient of the order. Atelier Florentine has no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You can contact your local customs office for further information. All orders are shipped from the Netherlands.

Discount codes cannot be applied to discounted items.


Shipping
We strive to ship orders placed before 3 p.m. on the same day. All products are shipped within 1-2 business days. During sales, your order may take a little longer.

Delivery time and costs depend on the delivery service.

Your order will be delivered according to your chosen delivery option.

If your order was delivered to a parcel service, please make sure you pick it up in a timely manner before it is returned to us. All costs associated with returns are your responsibility and are not covered by Atelier Florentine.


Damaged products
If your purchase is damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days by emailing info@atelierflorentine.nl. Include your order number, a description of the damage and attach photos showing the product and defects so your claim can be reviewed. If the complaint is timely and justified, the product will be exchanged or the price of the product will be refunded.

When you return the product, be sure to have the enclosed postal receipt stamped and signed at the post office when you return the package. This is your proof that the package has been returned to us and in this case you are not liable in case the package is not received at Konges Sløjd.

Keep the postal receipt until you receive notification from Atelier Florentine that your returned package has been received and processed.


Our liability
We warrant to you that any product you purchase from us through our website is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for the purposes for which such products are customarily supplied.

In compiling the content of this website, great care has been taken to accurately describe the items and terms and conditions. However, from time to time technical inaccuracies and/or typographical errors may occur. From time to time, minor variations may occur within designs and colors or in text descriptions. Since the colors you see depend on your monitor, we cannot promise or guarantee that the color your monitor displays actually reflects the color of the product delivered to you.

Slight color deviations (due, for example, to various monitors) are therefore not considered a defect within the meaning of the Dutch law on the sale of goods. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any claims, whether for direct or consequential damages relating to the accuracy of the information on this website, whether arising from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence or any other cause.

We shall not be liable for the use of the products other than for their intended use.

We shall not be liable for indirect damages.

Our liability in all cases is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.

Applicable law
All agreements for the purchase of products through our Website are entered into in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Such agreements and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to such agreements, their contents or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by Dutch law, although you retain the right to invoke any protective mandatory rules applicable in your country of residence.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to such agreements or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands, but you retain the right to take legal action in your country of residence if you are a consumer resident in the EU.
