Wallpaper

Always order a little extra wallpaper so you have enough room to move during the installation. All wallpapers are custom made and every time a new print starts, a new paint bath is made. Colour variations my occur in between prints (the effect is minimal, but you can see it sometimes), so make sure you order enough wallpaper. 

How to order

Calculate the width and height of your wall. if you have multiple connecting walls, you add these measurements together in width. 

Divide the width of the wall by the width of the roll (50cm or 2ft) That's the amount of rolls you will need.  
Pick your height (270cm - 320cm or 10ft)
And that's it! If you want to order classic rolls (EU only) of 1000cm long, you will have a separate calculation method written out at every wallpaper design. 

Because it is custom-made especially for you, the wallpaper can’t be returned and it has a production time of 5-7 working days. 

Printing wallpaper is a technical and advanced process, and on rare occasions, mistakes can be made. We ask that you please always check the wallpaper before booking a decorator to install it or hanging it yourselves, to ensure there are no production defects. If you find any flaws, please contact us before you book your decorator or start installing the wallpaper, and we will replace it free of charge. Atelier Florentine is not responsible for costs made for removing wallpaper that appears to be faulty after installation. 

Materials
Our wallpapers are available in three different materials: 

Vinyl textile wallpaper
Matte non-woven wallpaper
Peel & stick wallpaper



The vinyl textile wallpaper has a textile look and feel and is the most luxurious wallpaper. It is matte and has a beautiful texture. This wallpaper has a paste-the-paper installation, meaning you put the glue on the wall. (EU only)

The matte non-woven wallpaper is the most allround wallpaper. It is matte and is perfectly smooth. This wallpaper has a paste-the-wall installation, meaning you have to put the glue on the wall. (EU only)

Our peel & stick wallpaper is perfect for homes that are temporary. It is like a big sticker. You remove the back and just stick it to the wall. You can also remove it without a trace. It has a soft satin shine. Important: only sticks on smooth clean walls. 


Over time production of the materials may vary. Every time a new wallpaper is printed, they create a new paint bath. The variation is very little, but it can occur. We will always choose the highest quality of wallpaper we can get. If we have te replace a material we will always opt for something as similar as possible with the same quality. So if you have ordered your sample a long time before your order there might be, on a rare occasion, minor differences in the material. 


Asked a professional for help?
Amazing! Wallpaper can be a tricky thing if you haven't done it before. We strongly recommend to wait for the wallpaper to arrive first and checked properly before you make any appointments. Atelier Florentine is not responsible for missed appointments due to postal delays or production flaws. This happens on a rare occasion (we are working with humans :-) ) so please wait till everything is in and checked before you call the installer. 

Prices

All prices on our website include VAT. The prices of our items can be found at the products. Use the calculator at the wallpaper to get the right price. The total price of the birth announcement cards will be shown once you have entered the correct amount of cards. 

What is the delivery time? 

Birth announcements are delivered in 4 business days for orders placed before 12:00 noon. Please note that we cannot influence the delivery services. How does the editor work for birth announcements? 

The editor works best on a normal computer screen, but someone who is very handy and has small fingers can also manage it on a phone ;-) You can choose the text yourself and slide it around on the card. Can't see the text? Slide it around, you may have typed it somewhere where it is not clearly visible. Want to edit the back? At the bottom left you will see two boxes, one with a picture of the front, one with a picture of the back. By clicking here you can change the front and/or back side.

Do you have a different font, size or colors in mind? Let us know, we are happy to help you. In some cases we charge a small additional fee for the extra work we put into this.

Can I also get a proof with our own name? 

To save costs and the environment, we only send proofs that we have printed in advance. So this is exactly the same card, only the name is different. Proofs are always without foil. Your design will differ little from the proof. Proofs are for seeing the colors and feeling the texture of the paper. This way you get a good idea of what your card will look like! With the editor on our website you can digitally see what the card will look like with your own name and text.  This digital version is a lower resolution than on the website to prevent dispersion. The final print is of course sharp! 

There is an error on our birth announcements, now what? 

Please review and check your design carefully before final ordering. We are not responsible and/or liable by made (typing) errors that are only discovered after approval of the (digital) proof. If you are quick (within an hour) then we can still help you, but we take orders as quickly as possible to guarantee delivery times. Should we find an error on the card that is not in your design, we will of course reprint the cards at our expense.
